Okay, so I am doing NaNoWriYe this year. Only committing to 50,000 words, though, because I want to do NaNoWriMo in the fall.
So far, I've written 5,771 words of my novel. That puts me on target for the year, right?
I'm finding it hard to find a concrete, carved-in-stone time to write. Even when the kids are at school, there is laundry to do and dishes to wash, floors to sweep... it seems it never all gets done. I've taken to writing when they're in bed at night, but that makes it tough to get up in the morning. My husband, the saint, has been getting up with them and getting them off to school. I am blessed. |
